How my storytelling coaching works.
If your focus is a job interview and you don't want a deeper dive into public speaking, one-on-one coaching is very effective. Many clients make major changes in one session. Many have gotten their job offer after only one hour of coaching.
If possible, before we meet (typically on Skype or Zoom, or at Triton College in Chicago) you’ll make a list of workplace stories that might be helpful for an interview (or any other purpose). If you can’t think of stories, I’m great at helping you find them.
You’ll want to bring your favorite stories and any story that will illustrate a trait, skill, or knowledge that your interviewer cares about. You’ll also want to bring a list of any questions that concern you. We’ll want to make sure and practice these.
