Happening Now!

Dog Tales

Patric Able"Dog Tales," a one-man show starring Patrick Able, will be touring the Western suburbs, performing in private homes.

An exploration of our canine companions, "Tales" combines stories of contemporary and classic authors such as Stephen Kuusisto, Terry Bain, Jack London, and John Wright.

This heart-warming journey traverses species and locales as we explore the psychology of dogs and their owners.

Inspirare Theatre's mission is to provide exceptional theatre in intimate, non-traditional settings in Chicago's Western Suburbs. The company's focus is on the basics of theatre -- actor, text, and audience.

Since Inspirare Theatre does not emphasize technical elements (lights, elaborate sets, or special effects), the company stages plays in alternative, real-world locations. These environments are selected to enhance each drama -- heightening the sense of "place" for the audience.

"A company that bears watching" -- Barbara Vitello, Daily Herald
