An exploration of our canine companions, "Tales" combines stories of contemporary and classic authors such as Stephen Kuusisto, Terry Bain, Jack London, and John Wright.

Dog Tales Audience.

Inspirare Theatre's mission is to provide exceptional theatre in intimate, non-traditional settings in Chicago's Western Suburbs. The company's focus is on the basics of theatre -- actor, text, and audience.

Since Inspirare Theatre does not emphasize technical elements (lights, elaborate sets, or special effects), the company stages plays in alternative, real-world locations. These environments are selected to enhance each drama -- heightening the sense of "place" for the audience.

"A company that bears watching" -- Barbara Vitello, Daily Herald

Inspirare (Latin) from in- + spirare to breathe -- archaic: to infuse (as life) by breathing.
Inspiration -- the act of drawing in; specifically: the drawing of air into the lungs, the action or power of moving the intellect or emotions, breathing-in divine energies.
